Today I spent some time trying out a Docker compose version of WordPress. On Unraid there’s a nifty plugin to allow Docker compose, and I quite like it for combining containers that work together. The bulk of tinker time today was spent trying to correctly proxy to the new instance, and at the end of the day I’m not sure what I did to fix it. But now, instead of hosting on my LAMP VM (from previous posts) I’m running off a Docker container! Yay!
Just need to move my wife’s blog over, then my Discourse install, and then I can move the reverse proxy and be entirely containerized!
We have yet to see if that’s a good thing.
