FIRST

I’ve been wanting to set up a place to post random thoughts and whatnot for a while now. Recently, my wife took an interest in designing and selling on Etsy. She wanted a website (KingFamilyCreates.com), and I wanted an excuse to play around with server VMs. Lo and behold, I think I may have finally figured out how to set up a LAMP VM with WordPress on it. I may have even managed to do it correctly for two virtual hosts on separate domains! Hooray!

I would not have pulled it off without the excellent guides from LinuxBabe.com. Strange domain name, but who am I to point fingers? This is a good excuse to recoup some “costs” from my Unraid file server I’ve been running for a few years now. At $10/month for most WP hosting solutions, I should have this paid off in… actually, maybe we won’t run those numbers…

Anyways, I don’t expect I’ll spend much time blathering on here about anything important, but at least now I have a place where I can shout into the void.
